We have operated as sailing instructors from the year 1998. Our instructors are easy-going sailing professionals who have a great attitude towards teaching. With us you can learn the ABC of sailing or get a racer’s most secret tips. As training boats we use 606 sailboats, optimist dinghies and WelkerBay dinghies. Our base is at the Brändö Seglare yacht club in Kulosaari, Granfeltintie10 Helsinki.

We also do private sailing courses for groups and racing teams.

Ladies Sailing School

The very popular Ladies Sailing School is a course for beginners as well as more experienced sailors. It’s a course for women, but men are also welcome!

In our courses we use 606 sailboats that are safe and easy to handle. In every boat there is one instructor and 2-3 students. The groups are divided into the boats according to prior experiences.

In the beginner groups we learn the basics both in theory and in practice. Knots, manoeuvres, sailing skills and safety at sea are included in the course. In the continuation groups we get familiar with sailing with a spinnaker, trimming and racing.

The sailing courses are held on weekends and evenings.

Weekend couses week 21 (24-26.5), Friday 5-9pm and Saturday, Sunday 10am-5pm.

Evening courses week 21, 22 and 23: monday, wednesday and thursday  16.30-21.00

Junior Sailing School

We operate in cooperation with Brändö Seglare Yachclub and East Side Sailing Team. The courses are helld at Brändö Seglare Yacht Club week 23 and 24. As training boats we use optimist dinghies. You can register to the courses at: http://www.eastsidesailingteam.fi/

Junior School at Brändö Seglare, week 23 and 24: Monday-Friday at 9am-4.00pm

Price: 275 € which includes lunch at the club restaurant and membership in Brändö Seglare Yacht Club.
