The snowmobile tour covers an easy and beautiful route around nearby forest trails and frozen sea. No previous experience needed, all driving- and safety instructions will be provided by our professional guides before start. You don´t need a drivers licence to go on a tour with us. You must be at least 15 years old to drive a snowmobile on our tours. Under 15 years old persons can join as passengers (you must reserve a seat for your children).
The snowmobile safaris always include a break at one of the islands when you can relax and enjoy lunch/ snacks and hot drinks by the campfire.
You will be equipped with the latest models of environment friendly powerful snowmobiles and warm clothing e.g. warm overalls, boots, gloves, balaclavas and helmets. We use Yamaha Venture Lite snowmobiles during our safaris.
The snowmobile tours are arranged in Sipoo and Helsinki archipelago. Our snowmobile base is situated approx. 30 km east of Helsinki downtown, a 25 minute drive by car.
We also arrange snowmobile tours for private groups. Of course for our private groups the set-up can then always be modified, with own schedules and durations, tailor made routes depending on the group´s schedule, perhaps including meals, sauna, hot pool, add-on activities even accommodations and conference arrangements at Norrkulla island.

Please note: If the sea ice is not sufficiently strong, the snowmobile tour will be rerouted to forest and field trails located just 15 minutes from our snowmobile base.

Snowmobile tour in Helsinki archipelago
Join us for an unforgettable snowmobile adventure in the stunning frozen archipelago! Your experience begins with a convenient pickup at Helsinki Cathedral/Senate Square, where our friendly guide will greet you and take you to the snowmobile center by car or minivan. Upon arrival, you’ll be outfitted with all the necessary winter gear, including a warm snowsuit, boots, gloves, a balaclava, and a helmet to ensure your comfort and safety.
After a brief but thorough safety orientation and driving instructions, you’ll embark on an exciting snowmobile journey, led by our expert local guide. As you glide through the breathtaking winter landscapes, you’ll enjoy several stops along the way, where our guide will share fascinating insights about life in the archipelago.
Midway through your adventure, you’ll make a longer stop on a picturesque island, where a traditional Finnish BBQ lunch awaits you, complete with warm drinks. You’ll also have the opportunity to try your hand at ice fishing or kick sledding for a true taste of Finnish winter activities.
Once re-energized, you’ll hop back on your snowmobile and continue exploring the serene beauty of the archipelago. The tour concludes with a return to the snowmobile center, where your guide will drive you back to the heart of Helsinki, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
Each snowmobile is shared by two adults, but you can easily upgrade to enjoy the thrill of riding solo. Snowmobiling is simple to learn and guaranteed to be a fun, exhilarating experience for everyone!
The snowmobile adventure lasts approximately 2.5 hours, with an additional 1 hour for transfers and 30 minutes for dressing and briefing. Our comfortable pickup van follows a scheduled route to ensure a seamless experience.

For corporate or other groups we can organise private snowmobile tours with extra activities, meetings, accommodation, dinner and sauna. We can organise longer whole day safaris with lunch or dinner in a Villa on an island and snowmobile tours including meetings, accommodation and so forth.

Do not drive up the steep hill when google navigator says you are at the location, you will get stuck! Continue right 100 meters and turn left at the green gate! If you see a Burn Out City Events sign you are at the right place! Leave your car at the parking place or if you have 4 wheel drive you can continue down to the safari house!
Snowmobile information
We use Yamaha Venture Lite snowmobiles during our snowmobile tours. The Snowmobiles have a 500cc 4-stroke sport performance engine. These snowmobiles are specially made for safaris and are equipped with fully automatic engines, which make them nice and easy to drive. Though powerful, they are environmental friendly.
