Experience the Gulf of Finland in a hovercraft! Our guides will lead you to the amazing winter wonderland in the archipelago in Helsinki Metropolitan Area.
A hovercraft can operate both in open sea and on ice.
The tour covers a beautiful route around the coastline where we can have either open water and/or frozen sea or something in between, drift ice, thin ice etc.
During the tour our guide tells you about the life in the archipelago. We have breaks when you can relax and enjoy snacks and hot drinks by the campfire. We can also try ice fishing, both with jigs through holes drilled in the ice and with nets set under the ice. We can test kick-sleds on the ice and snowshoe walking on one of the hundred islands.
Longer safaris and additional services hand in hand with the safaris can also be arranged for you, e.g. sauna, meals, hot-pool, accommodation, etc.
Hovercraft tours availability is depending on the ice and snow conditions but usually from mid-December to April.
